We purchased some batteries recently from Whitcoulls. It was a straightforward purchase, but it was only later that we realised the packaging had “W H Smith” clearly labelled on it. Interesting!! For those of you who don’t know, W H Smith are a major UK retailer with over 550 stores and a further 440 travel outlets at various locations, including airports. Whitcoulls in NZ pretty well sell the same merchandise.
