Kiwi business wins global retailer award

Global business, culture and design guide, Monocle magazine, has announced RCG's client Farro Fresh amongst the winners of its inaugural retail awards.

The awards, called Trade Secrets, features a total of 25 leading retailers from around the world including Paris, Tokyo, New York and Stockholm. Check out the video detailing all the Monocle magazine retail award winners.

Farro Fresh was awarded the title of Top Local-produce Grocer Chain. Monocles judge’s commented saying “Small-scale retail and a great local produce selection make grocers like this a must in every town.”

Farro approached retail experts, RCG, as a start-up brand that wanted to showcase New Zealand artisan produce. RCG developed the concept of the ‘artisan farmers market’ for the urban shopper.

The concept has been a winner and over the past four years RCG has helped Farro Fresh grow from one medium sized store to three large stores.
