RCG were initially contracted to conduct demographic research around current and potential consumers, to analyse the data, report these findings and make recommendations on how to increase the precinct’s appeal as a destination.

As the Britomart building is a Category A. Historic Building, we worked closely with the Auckland Heritage Council and Historic Places Trust to gain approval for the recommended management strategies.

RCG was then contracted as retail and event managers, to develop a retail brand and organise a comprehensive marketing calendar to promote the Britomart Transport Centre and increase foot traffic throughout its retail area.

In our position as retail property managers, we handled all leasing, tenancy coordination and management issues for the centre. Importantly, we also maintained and ensured the tenancy mix was suited to the Britomart demographic.
