John Lenihan

Director - Architecture

John is a registered architect, property strategist, as well as an award winning designer. He has degrees in both Economics and Architecture. John has a national profile and is sought after for his expertise in commercial architecture and planning; including mixed-use, retail and medium density residential. John manages our residential and mixed-use clients.

Desmond Wai

Director - Property

With more than 30 years’ experience in market analysis, property consulting, negotiation and development management, Des is highly regarded for his property expertise. He is a licensed real estate agent, and has a Bachelor in Property Management and Valuation. Des is a leader in the industry and serves on the NZ Committee of Shopping Centres. Des manages our property clients.

Andy Florkowski

Director - Design

Andy has received national and international recognition as an award winning designer. He has worked on retail, workplace and tourism projects across the globe whilst on teams within the UK and NZ. Andy is a representative on the Board of the Designers Institute of New Zealand. He has also exhibited work at the prestigious Venice Biennale. Andy manages our interior and commercial clients.

Alex Liang

Associate Director - Architecture

Alex Liang holds a Masters of Architecture with 1st Class Honours from University of Auckland. Alex has over 8 years of industry experience, including work on institutional and commercial projects. Alex is a project architect at RCG and designs and delivers key projects from early consultation to construction. Alex has worked on several significant projects for St Mary’s College Auckland, Epsom Girls Grammer and the $40 million Wai Ariki Spa development in Rotorua.

Karen Chew

Associate Director - Property Management

Karen primarily looks after the RCG Property Management. She has worked across several sectors including Property and Facilities Management, Retail Planning, Lease Negotiation and Asset Management. She has a strong background in Project and Operations Management, having had experience in the Hospitality, Construction and Health and Fitness industries.

Stephen has a wealth of retail tenant representation experience, and has been intimately involved across the property sector for over 30 years. He is a qualified accountant, registered valuer and salesperson and brings a unique perspective to the property decision-making process. Having spent some time growing retail store networks for multiple retailers in New Zealand and Australia, Stephen is familiar with most major markets in Australasia. Stephens supports the Tenancy Services and Consultancy at RCG.
